About Us

To individuals and families looking for expert advice and leadership with their real estate investments, Judy deFer and Cherie Tiscareno bring a wealth of experience.  Their 30 years of combined experience has earned them a reputation of being excellent communicators, tough negotiators and innovative marketers. 

After successfully starting her family, Judy choose to direct her passion in the footsteps of her mother, Winona Marshall Real Estate Broker and founder of Marshall & Associates. In 1984, Judy began her real estate career and in the following 24 years has helped hundreds of families make excellent choices with their real estate investments. In addition to re-sale homes, she broadened her fields of expertise to include ranchettes/horse property, new subdivisions, bare land including lot splits and lot line adjustments, probate & REO (Bank Repo)sales and seller financing.

Judy’s second daughter, Cherie, found the path of a real estate career a natural choice.  It was in her blood.  Continuing the family tradition and starting a third generation in the real estate industry Cherie joined her mother in early 2000.

Together as a team they bring a unique combination of extensive experience in diverse property types together with cutting edge knowledge of technology and its influence on real estate and marketing.

In 2006, upon the retirement of Judy’s mother (Cherie’s grandmother) they bought Marshall & Associates and are now the broker/owners of this well-established company.  As the leaders of ten licensed consultants they focus on:

• Continuing education to keep abreast of market trends and changing legalities
• Deepening client relationships through consistent communication
• Discovering and developing new, innovative ways of internet marketing
